Cushman & Wakefield, Chicago, announced several promotions and additions in its suburban office.

Three executives were promoted to associate director in the firm’s industrial/technology group. They are: James R. Estus, who earned the company’s outstanding production award in 1993; Douglas E. Hayes, who received its top producing broker award in 1993; and Michael J. Piscoran, who has completed more than 75 transactions during his six years in real estate.

Commercial brokerage veteran Thomas C. Dasse joined Cushman & Wakefield as an industrial properties specialist. Dasse had been with Bennett & Kahnweiler since 1987. He is currently president of The Real Estate Consortium.

David J. Kamen also was hired to work in the company’s industrial/technology group.

A sporting proposition

Charles H. Johnson has been hired by Stein & Co., Chicago, as its vice president in the program management group to consult on the development of sports, meeting and entertainment facilities.

He was formerly director of KPMG Peat Marwick’s convention, sports and leisure consulting practice, and an advisor to the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority which owns McCormick Place and Navy Pier.

On the move

– Baird & Warner, Chicago, has elected three new vice presidents in its residential sales group. They are: Dick Gribble, sales manager of the Glenview office; Arlene Vandenberg, sales manager of the Woodridge office; and Judy Grigutis, who had been an assistant vice president in the company’s sales closing department.

– The Chicago Architecture Foundation has appointed Patricia H. McHugh to its board of trustees. She will work on the Newhouse Architecture Competition, which helps Chicago public school students develop design skills. McHugh is a vice president of James McHugh Construction Co., Chicago.

– Thomas F. Menzel has joined Greater Illinois Title Co., Chicago, as vice president of sales. Previously, Menzel ran his own consulting business. In his new position, Menzel will focus on business development for the company.

– The RREEF Funds, Chicago, has named Thomas Sovereign as its regional manager of engineering. He will be based in the firm’s Oak Brook office. Previously, Sovereign was with The RREEF Funds office in Minneapolis.

– The Association for Industrial Real Estate Brokers, Naperville, has named its officers for 1994: Elise A. Couston, president; Ronald J. Behm, vice president; Timothy S. Wagener, treasurer; and James Ascot, secretary.

David J. Prioletti, Austin C. Jump, Terry O’Hara and Kevin Lynch were all named new directors of the group.

– Rich Lentfer, president and founder of ERA Rich Real Estate, Inc., was elected president of the ERA Real Estate, Chicagoland Brokers Council. The council is responsible for managing the marketing and operations of the 120 area ERA offices.

– Lynda Ancell has been appointed vice president and branch manager of CDK Mortgage Inc.’s Evanston office. She has been with the company for three years and will continue to originate loans in the communities of Wilmette and Evanston.

– McWilliams & Associates Inc., Naperville, has announced the appointment of Kay Porsche as senior vice president and chief financial officer and William J. Waliewski as vice president of property management and leasing.

– Greg Gamades has been promoted to director of customer service for United Homes, Rolling Meadows. He joined the company in 1988 and now handles its customer service department.

– Robert W. Franksen has been promoted to director of leasing at Caraher Management Corporation, Schiller Park. He will oversee the company’s leasing portfolio of about 1 million square feet of office space.

– Trudy M. Doyle was named executive officer of the Oak Park Board of Realtors. Doyle is responsible for helping the baord’s members make the transition to the Northern Illinois Multiple Listing Service, a regional service.

Michelle M. Bella has joined Kensington Mortgage Advisors, Chicago, as a loan officer. . . . McLennan Residential Sales Company, Park Ridge, hired Patricia Wisniewski as a sales associate.

Robert J. Schlacks was hired by ELB Mortgage Brokers, Northbrook, as senior loan consultant. . . . Golub & Co., Chicago, hired Brian J. Whiting as director of marketing for the 680 North Lake Shore Drive and 625 North Michigan Avenue buildings. . . . M. Jay Johnson joined Colliers, Bennett & Kahnweiler, Rosemont, as sales associate.
