Daniel T. Crotty, 82, a retired Chicago police officer who lived on the city’s Southwest Side, died Saturday in Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Oak Lawn. Mr. Crotty worked for the Police Department for 30 years before he retired. He is survived by six sons: Daniel B., Brian, Neil, Larry, Alann and Keith; two sisters, and nine grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 8200 S. Kostner Ave.
