– The CBS show “Tall Hopes,” which starred comedian George Wallace, didn’t last long. I would like to know why.
Basically, it was intended only to be a late-summer filler last year. Of course, that situation might have changed if the series had earned ratings strong enough to justify giving it a longer run … but it didn’t, and that’s why it disappeared.
– In the past few weeks, I’ve looked at the Friday-night TV lineup and noticed that my favorite show-“Sister, Sister”-has not been aired. Will it be returning to ABC?
Actually, the network has been presenting repeats of the show on Tuesday nights in recent weeks. However, there’s good news for “Sister” fans, since twins Tia and Tamera Mowry (along with Tim Reid and Jackee Harry) will be back with new episodes next season. It won’t be a fall starter, but it’ll be ready to go as soon as a replacement show is needed.
