Cost-conscious Delta Air Lines will do just about anything to save money. The nation’s No. 3 carrier said it is testing serving drinks on its flights in plastic foam cups instead of the more expensive clear plastic kind. Delta says it could cut its costs up to $1.2 million annually if it decides to make a change. Two years ago Delta removed excess lettuce leaves from some dishes for a savings of $1.4 million a year.
