The designer and builder of Denver International Airport’s automated baggage system reached an agreement with Denver officials that will let it alter the problem-plagued system so the airport can open by Feb. 28. The agreement allows BAE Automated Systems Inc. three weeks to negotiate alterations with United Airlines, which will be the system’s principal user. The airport’s opening has been delayed four times since last October because of the baggage system.
