Police and fire officials were investigating a fire bomb that exploded Sunday in Community Park, 1825 Short St. Residents told police they heard a loud explosion and then saw a fire burning in the park. After putting out the blaze, firefighters said they discovered a 5-gallon glass jug filled with at least 2 gallons of gasoline. No one was injured.
