Framing photos for a kid’s room is not the only way to show off images.
Pictures can be made into myriad decorations, from calendars and trading cards to poster-size blowups and more. Check camera and film stores for more ideas, or scrutinize the ads in Popular Photography and similar magazines. For starters, consider:
– A wall border made with full-page magazine photos of cars, celebrities, etc.
– An under-the-desktop collage of snapshots.
– A ceiling mobile assembled with pictures hung on clear monofilament.
– A laminated personal photo cutout adhered to a stand-up base for tabletop use.
– A thick, free-standing, life-size cardboard cutout of a favorite character.
– A collection of trading cards or other photos hung vertically on a door on extra-wide ribbon. Glue photos one by one, leaving some ribbon that shows in between.
If none of these work for you, consider the easiest photo display option: Let your child arrange snapshots on a bulletin board.
