Volvo Cars of North America is recalling about 15,650 1994-model turbocharged 850 sedans and wagons in the U.S. and Canada to modify the engine air-intake systems to prevent problems in very cold weather. The cars involved in the recall, about 14,000 cars in the U.S. and about 1,650 in Canada, have Volvo’s five-cylinder, 20-valve, turbocharged engine.
