I take great exception to the militant, feminist letter written about Barbara Bush (Oct. 20). Perhaps if more women were like Barbara, (I’ve met her and she’s wonderful) our family lives wouldn’t be in such a mess. What is wrong with “gushing over your husband,” no matter how long you’ve been married? And the “joys of family life should be hawked,” not laughed at.
