By a horrendous mistake, I took my daughter and four out-of-town visitors to see the comedian Gallagher at the Star Plaza Theatre. If live shows were to be given ratings, Gallagher would get “XXX.”
He shouts supposed jokes about raw and obscene matters, including sexual activities, in great detail. He uses props to better illustrate his depravity. It is slime.
Young adults and teenagers made up the bulk of the audience. If someone wants to assemble a list of things to worry about in regard to the future of the country, I suggest the adoration by young people of what Gallagher did be placed near the top of the list. Ugly, mean, vile, revolting.
We finally lowered our heads and picked our way through the slop at intermission.
