I read with great interest the article (Nov. 11) in the Tribune that revealed the billions of dollars that the Republican “Contract with America” will cost the American people.
The Tribune points out that 73 percent of the Republicans’ proposed capital gains tax cut would go to people earning $100,000 or more. But I can’t understand why you waited until three days after the election to make this information public.
