Her parents are Donald and Sally Whiting of Bannockburn.
The groom is a graduate of Oxford University, Oxford, England, and the University of Manchester, Manchester, England. He is currently a faculty member of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
His parents are Ellen Burrows of Stourbridge, England, and the late Gerald Burrows. His mother is retired.
