Two people, one of them a 15-year-old boy, were wounded Monday on the South Side after being shot by a teen who had approached them and uttered a gang slogan, police said.
The shooting occurred at 3:30 p.m. in the 300 block of West 106th Place, according to Pullman Area Sgt. Larry Augustine.
The 15-year-old boy was shot numerous times and taken to Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was in serious condition, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
The second shooting victim, Mark Thomas, 21, was in good condition at Roseland Community Hospital, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
