Phase 3 has been launched at Deerpass Greens in far northwest suburban Marengo.
When completed, the subdivision will have 214 three- and four-bedroom homes and 10 private parks. To date, 75 homes have been sold. Phase 3 includes 33 homes.
Seven floor plans are available at Deerpass Greens, including ranch, bi-level and two-story designs.
The residences range in size from 1,008 to 1,801 square feet of living area. The are priced from $103,900 to $141,900, including lot. In addition to the basic plan, each home can be customized with numerous options.
The average homesite is over 10,000 square feet, and has an asphalt driveway and underground utilities. The land plan allows for the rear yards of most homes to adjoin private parks. Tree-lined pathways wind past gazebos and benches.
Deerpass Greens is part of the Communities of Deerpass, a 270-acre development being built by the Woodstone Co.
Located in McHenry County, it can be reachhed by taking Interstate Highway 90 west to U.S. Highway 20 west, then turning north on Prospect Street in Marengo.
– Townhouse sales are nearing completion at Glenlake Estates in north suburban Glenview. Only nine of 66 townhouses are still available at the project being built by the James Companies.
Two floor plans-the Morgan and the Manchester-offer 2,088 and 2,436 square feet of living area respectively.
Buyers can tour furnished models of both the Morgan and Manchester.
The two-bedroom Morgan is priced from $311,300, while the three-bedroom Manchester is priced from $341,700.
The townhouse exteriors feature traditional architecture with high-pitched roofs and extensive use of gables, brick, and cedar.
Glenlake Estates, which also includes 106 single-family homes, is on the east side of Pfingsten Road, one mile south of Willow Road.
– The Greens of Midlothian, a single-family community in south suburban Midlothian, is nearing the end of its final phase of construction.
Only six of the 67 homes planned for the subdivision remain to be sold. Offered are ranch, bi-level and two-story plans.
They range in size from 1,865 to 2,300 square feet and in price from $132,900 to $178,900.
The three-bedroom homes being built by Hartz Construction have 2 1/2 baths, basements and two-car garage.
To visit the models, take Cicero Avenue to 147th Street, then west three blocks.
– Six new semi-custom single-family homes are for sale and available for 30-day delivery at Park View at Victoria Meadows in southwest suburban Oswego.
The D.R. Horton Custom Homes project is planned for 222 residences.
They range in size from 1,534 to 2,419 square feet and in price from $143,860 to $202,965. The homesites average a quarter-acre.
The residences that can be delivered in 30 days are the Seton, Talcott, Montclair, Wyndam and Kingston.
The subdivision is on U.S. Highway 34 (Oswego Road/Ogden Avenue) just west of Douglas Road.
– Ground has been broken for the construction of the first set of townhouses at Victorian Square, a 14-unit project in west suburban Oak Park.
One residence will be decorated and open to buyers to walk through.
Preconstruction prices range from $208,000 to $212,000 at the Gammonley Group project.
The units will have two or three bedrooms in designs that offer more than 1,780 square feet of living area. The three-level homes will be in Victorian style.
Victorian Square is at the Harlem Avenue and Schneider Road.
