To the parents of Moshe Rogers, the Aurora basketball star who was fatally shot Feb.17:
My deepest sympathy goes out you. It is a shame that the world can treat people so cruelly.
Throughout your years of raising Moshe, you may have made many difficult decisions in the hopes of making him a better person. You may have reprimanded him for his wrongs or you may have praised him for his good deeds. In this time of sorrow, however, I must commend you for choosing to donate Moshe’s organs. By doing this, you have given life to patients who have been waiting years for donors.
