Feed your paranoia by reading the “Safe Shoppers Bible: A Consumer’s Guide to Nontoxic Household Products, Cosmetics and Food.”

Written by environmental doc Samuel Epstein of the University of Illinois, the book rates the safety of thousands of common products. To wit:- Ajax–Contains crystalline silica, a carcinogen known to cause lung cancer.

– Johnson Baby Shampoo–Contains preservatives that release formaldehyde, which is carcinogenic and neurotoxic.

– Formby’s Aerosol Paint Remover–Contains methanol, which can cause permanent blindness.

Have a nice day.
