A 12-year-old Aurora boy was listed in fair condition Thursday at Mercy Center for Health Care Services two days after being shot in the jaw. Alex Valles, of the 600 block of Howard Avenue, told police he heard his front doorbell ring Tuesday night. When he answered the door, a man shot him at point-blank range and fled, police said.
