Catherine “Kitty” Sharpenter, 87, retired secretary and head of computer operations for Ted Sharpenter Inc., died in her Aurora home Tuesday. She retired in 1990 from the beer distributorship her husband founded in 1934. Survivors include three sons, Bob, Rich and Ned; a daughter, Joanne Blincoe; a sister; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Daleiden Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. Mass for Mrs. Sharpenter will be said at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 430 E. Downer Pl., Aurora.
