Jonathan B. Olson, 16, of Cary, a junior at Cary-Grove High School, died Monday in Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington after an illness. He was born in Lake Forest. At school, he was on the board of Operation Snowball and was a member of Stagecrafters. He was also an actor with the Cary Park District’s Cary Children’s Theater. He is survived by his parents, Dr. Glenn and Kathleen Olson; his maternal grandmother, Harriett Macander; his paternal grandmother, Dolly Olson; and a sister. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 410 First St., Cary.
