The Franciscan Friars of Marytown will sponsor the second annual Youth 2000 prayer festival July 7 to 9.
The festival, open to both Catholics and non-Catholics, is one of 40 Youth 2000 prayer festivals being held throughout the country this year, said Brother Francis Mary, director of the youth ministry at Marytown. It will be geared to individuals ages 13 to 30 and participants from all over the Midwest are expected to attend.
The festival will take place at Marytown, 1600 W. Park Ave. Registration fee is $5. For more information, call 367-7800.
