Caryl Taylor, 66, a Bartlett Village trustee for 12 years and director and founding member of the Bartlett Historical Society, died Wednesday in Sherman Hospital in Elgin. She was a former English teacher for Elgin’s schools and a manager for AT&T for 24 years. She is survived by three daughters, Laury Patwardhan, Cara Sermeno and Beth Worley; and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Immanuel United Church of Christ, 415 W. North Ave., Bartlett.
