Robert E. McCullagh, 68, a longtime resident of Barrington Hills, died Saturday in New Bern, N.C. Mr. McCullagh was a founding member and former president of the Barrington Hills Riding Center and active in other related organizations. He was an advertising executive in Chicago for many years. He was formerly president of Grant-Jacoby Design and a director of Grant-Jacoby Inc. During his retirement in Oriental, N.C., Mr. McCullagh served as the director of nature programs at the YMCA Camp Seagull. Survivors include two sons, Grant and Douglas; two sisters; and four grandchildren. Services will be private.
