A custom-made horse saddle valued at $2,500 was reportedly stolen Wednesday from a horse barn at 41640 Green Bay Rd. Owner Stephen Marcus, 53, who lives at the same address, told police that the suspect probably is known to him because his dog, who is reportedly unfriendly to strangers, was guarding the barn at the time of the theft.
