Marvin Victor Stevens, 82, owner of a tree service firm in Glenview, died Tuesday in Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. He served for several years as Glenview’s forester and as president of the Illinois Chapter of the National Shade Tree Conference. He was an accomplished musician. Survivors include his wife, Bruna; two sons, Peter and Brian; a daughter, Valerie Reuter; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday in the New Church, 74 Park Drive, Glenview.
