David J. Heaphy, 52, an electronics technician at Motorola Inc., Schaumburg, died Thursday in his home in Algonquin. He was born in Waukegan. He is survived by his wife, Diane; a daughter, Melissa Marhofke; three sons, Michael, Kevin and Jeffrey; his father, Gilbert; a brother; a sister; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kahle-Mooeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin.
