John Wayne Hosmer, 32, of 1187 Russellwood Ct., was charged Friday with home-repair fraud for allegedly accepting $3,200 for a basement refurnishing job that he never performed, according to police. Hosmer is accused of accepting the money last March from a homeowner in the 1600 block of Newgate Court. A warrant had been issued for his arrest, and he turned himself into police on Friday.
