Police arrested a 28-year-old village man on two misdemeanor charges after being accused of slicing up his estranged wife’s bed with a knife and threatening her by telephone. David Easterday, of 217 Lewis Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment by telephone, according to police records. The wife of the 100 block of East Mill Street, told police Friday that she found him inside her home. Police said the bed was cut up, the television was destroyed and the telephone was ripped out of the wall. She also accused her estranged husband of threatening her by telephone just before the incident.
