Walgreen Co., the nation’s largest drugstore chain, said it will open its first stores in Dallas, Las Vegas and Portland in the fall of 1996. The Deerfield-based company said it will open 10 to 15 stores apiece in Dallas and Las Vegas next fall and four to five stores in Portland. In addition, the company is opening its first stores in the Seattle area this fall.
