Rick Mackiewicz, of the 700 block of Portree Lane, and Robert Morris, of the 300 block of Glen Farm Lane, both reported to police that they awoke early Monday to find some of their property covered with paint. Mackiewicz told police he heard a car with a loud exhaust near his home about 1:30 a.m., and then found his Chevy Minivan covered with light blue paint about six hours later. Damage to his vehicle was estimated at $350. According to reports, Morris found his motorcycle and van covered with yellow paint around 7 a.m. The front of his house was also spotted with blue paint. Damage to the house and vehicles was estimated at $2,000. Police do not know if these incidents are related.
