The Tribune states that Colin Powell can fix a car (Perspective, Sept. 17) but then asks if he can fix what ails America. The answer is . . . maybe.
Unfortunately, neither the Democratic nor the Republican parties as they are now constituted and with their present leadership are able to.
Maybe we should give Powell a chance.
