David P. Furman, 50, of 815 Fitch Rd., Rockford, told police he was turning west into the driveway at Hardee’s Restaurant, 301 S. Division St. at 5 p.m. Monday when an unknown vehicle cut in front of him causing him to jam on his car’s brakes and slide into a light pole in the parking lot due to the icy and snowy conditions.
