Daniel R. Ekstrom, 33, of 1632 Covington Ct., St. Charles, was charged with unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes and needles Sunday after police said he produced the items while they were speaking to him at his home. Ekstrom told police he had used the items to take steroids several months ago, according to the report.
