Police arrested a 22-year-old Clarendon Hills man last week after he was accused of attacking a 24-year-old Naperville woman. Shawn R. Statkus of 144 N. Gilbert Lane was charged with battery after witnesses told police that he punched the woman in the head in a parking lot in the 500 block of Maple Avenue. Statkus was released on bond.
