Financial-information provider Dun & Bradstreet Corp. is splitting into three companies but will continue to exist and provide its traditional services. A second firm, Cognizant Corp., will be formed to sell advice to the health-care and technology industries. It will include D&B’s Nielsen Media Research, compiler of TV ratings. A third company, A.C. Nielsen, will be created to provide marketing data to consumer packaged-goods firms.
