Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
In the past, I have usually agreed with Bernie Lincicome, but not when he wrote that Michael Jordan did not deserve the All-Star Game MVP and that Shaquille O’Neal should have gotten the award.
I am very disappointed. You may know other sports, but please, Bernie, lay off basketball.
The facts:
Jordan averaged one point a minute for the time he played.
He gave the team the spirit in the beginning of the game to gain a big lead.
He made all of his free throws while Shaquille not only missed 80 percent of his free throws but made a lot of turnovers.
O’Neal made a roaring dunk over David Robinson, which brought the hometown crowd to its feet. One play does not make an All-Star.
