First Chicago NBD Corp.’s FCC National Bank unit will open a credit-card processing center in Springfield, Mo., that initially will employ 750 people. First Card is adding the Missouri operation because its card-processing sites in Illinois, Indiana, Delaware and New York are near capacity. The bank employs 5,100 people at those centers.
