– Brad Goldstein, Stevenson: Pitched a one-hitter and drove in two runs in a double-header sweep of Carmel.

– Paul Massat, Andrew: In four games he went 6 for 10 with five RBIs, scored five runs and had three stolen bases.

SOFTBALL

– Erica Bava, Riverside-Brookfield: She went 4 for 6 with six RBIs and hit a grand slam in a double-header against Proviso West.

– Mary McGrane, Downers Grove North: She doubled, tripled and had six RBIs in two wins over Bolingbrook.

BOYS INDOOR TRACK

– Anthony Moorman, Lake Park: The sophomore was named outstanding Class AA performer at the Top Times Classic after winning the 55 meters (6.50 seconds) and 200 meters (21.72).

– Mike Richardson, Waukegan: He captured titles in the long jump (23 feet 6 1/2 inches) and triple jump (48-0 1/2) at the Top Times Classic.

GIRLS INDOOR TRACK

– Shakedia Jones, Waukegan: She won championships in the 55 (7.09) and the 200 (25.10) at the Top Times Classic.

– Nell Shields, Glenbard West: The senior set meet records in the and 3,200 (10:34.6) and the 1,600 (4:59.67) and was named outstanding performer at the Top Times Classic.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

– Chris Steponaitis, Morton: The middle hitter recorded 20 kills in Morton’s 5-15, 15-12, 15-5 defeat of Niles West for the Evanston Invitational championship.
