A Schaumburg man suffered fatal injuries when he was hit by a car Friday night as he was crossing a street in Arlington Heights.
James Quinlan, 69, was crossing the street in the 400 block of South Kennicott Avenue at 8 p.m. when he was struck by the car, according to police.
Quinlan was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
A Mt. Prospect woman who drove the car was not cited for any traffic violations, police said.
