ABBOTT ULCER THERAPY WINS U.S. OK

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the use of Abbott Laboratories’ antibiotic Biaxin Filmtab, in combination with Astra Merck Inc.’s Prilosec, to kill the bacteria that causes most ulcers.
