The District 300 Board of Education on Monday night witnessed the educational advantages of providing its 18 schools with a link to the Internet.
Fred Fox, assistant superintendent for curriculum, and Jim Feld, district technical coordinator, demonstrated the World Wide Web to the board.
“(The Internet) has been invaluable for instruction,” said Supt. Norman Wetzel. “It’s like providing a massive encyclopedia at your fingertips.”
