The death of 22-year-old Lake Forest resident Melissa Starzec will be the subject of a coroner’s inquest on Wednesday. Starzec was found dead in a Lake Forest stream at about 9:40 a.m. March 20 by a woman walking in the Open Lands preserve west of Green Bay Road. She was believed to have been out jogging. Starzec’s body showed no signs of trauma, authorities said.
