A store maintenance worker was arrested after being accused of trying to steal a coat and 11 watches early Saturday from Marshall Field at Woodfield Mall, police said. Mark Lumpkin, 30, of 7313 S. Damen Ave., Chicago, was charged with retail theft, police said. Lumpkin was searched by a store official at 5:50 a.m. after he was seen allegedly taking a coat from a rack, putting that on and then wearing his own coat over the first one, police said. During the search, police alleged, the watches were discovered.
