Elementary School District 21 is on par with neighboring school districts in its technological advances, according to a report given to the Board of Education Thursday night.

Moving into the third year of a five-year $5 million plan, the district continues to put more computers in the classrooms, with a goal of two computers in each classroom.

School officials are encouraging pupils to make wider use of national and international resources through the Internet. Officials are also gearing up to offer widespread use of e-mail.
