A 39-year-old village man told police someone entered his open garage in the 300 block of Taylor Court last Friday and stole a $3,800 Trek bike, which was hanging on the wall in the rear of the garage. According to police, the complainant’s wife left the house around 5:30 p.m. Friday and left the garage door open. The bike was discovered missing about one hour later.
