A Zion man has been arrested and charged with robbing the Warren-Newport Credit Union in Gurnee earlier this month, authorities said Friday.
According to Gurnee police, Gregory C. Adams, 41, of 2905 Willow Lane was arrested late Thursday as he left his job in Lake Bluff.
Authorities said Adams was arrested after police received a phone tip that he might be the person wanted in connection with the Aug. 19 robbery of the credit union, 1313 N. Skokie Highway.
