Police Tuesday charged Donald R. Morgan, 20, of 1414 N. Herkimer St., Joliet, and Shawn A. Smith, 20, of 1807 Dallas Pl., Joliet, with underage possession of alcohol and having open liquor in public. Officers reportedly saw them drinking in the street in the 400 block of Grover Street. Both posted $75 and have a Sept. 26 court date.
