Organizers say the black cowboy hat worn by the late Yul Brynner in the movie “The Magnificent Seven” was sold for $15,000 at an auction. An unnamed Texas collector bought the hat. Among other Brynner memorabilia auctioned Monday were his Colt revolver for $12,800 to an anonymous buyer and the silk costumes he wore in the movie “The King and I” for $11,900. The velour vest he wore in the stage version went for $2,880.
