The City Council will address a request to split a 100-foot lot at 515 Courtland Ave. to allow construction of two single-family homes.

Each lot would be slightly less than 50 feet wide, the minimum lot width required by the local zoning ordinance. Neighbors of the area have organized in opposition to the plan, saying it will set a precedent for creating more substandard lots and increasing density in Park Ridge.
