A former employee of Sportmart, 255 W. Roosevelt Rd., was arrested Tuesday after being accused of leaving the store with unpaid-for merchandise, police said. Steven Niezgoda, 17, of 704 E. Wilson Ave. was charged with retail theft, police said.
