A police officer charged in two sexual assaults was ordered held on $300,000 bond Tuesday for allegedly fondling a pregnant 23-year-old woman at gunpoint, authorities said.
Austin District Patrolman Gilberto Perez, 27, was charged with aggravated sexual abuse and aggravated kidnapping in the third incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 6, said Bob Benjamin, a spokesman for the Cook County state’s attorney office.
